SSI INSTRUCTOR TRAINING & XR CENTER
SEA MATES opens new doors to technical diving on the Island of Cres as the first SSI XR DIVE CENTER.
With a maximum capacity of 12 divers, we guarantee our guests and friends exclusive and personalized attention. We offer specialized and professional diving courses, entry-level technical diving courses, and we are a rebreather-friendly dive center. In a relaxed atmosphere, we provide enough space for you or your group (special offers), customized boat tours, and unforgettable dives.

At SEA MATES, we are committed to protecting the Adriatic and regularly organize Clean-Up Dives to keep the popular bays around Cres clean.
In addition, we offer workshops on the biodiversity of the Adriatic and talks on marine conservation. Become a SEA MATE and support us in our environmental protection projects.
SEA for Kids
JUST FOR KIDS PROGRAMS
At SEA MATES, it’s especially important to us that children have the opportunity to explore the sea in a fun and engaging way. Through creative activities and child-friendly diving and snorkeling trips, we introduce them to the underwater world and conservation efforts.
Our programs raise awareness about environmental protection and inspire the next generation to care for the sea. We want every child to leave with a smile and a deep appreciation for the ocean. With these programs we want to give the NEXT GENERATION the freedom to exchange ideas with their peers, do research and most of all: make new friends..

With over 20 years of diving experience in saltwater, lakes, caves, mines or under ice and an impressive number of conducting 1100+ courses, Denise, an Austrian girl is the heart and soul of SEA MATES. As an SSI Instructor Trainer, Teacher & Seamate, she brings unparalleled expertise in diving, technical diving, an infectious passion for teaching, and a strong commitment to environmental conversation. Denise’s vision for SEA MATES is to inspire divers to explore the sea responsibly while embracing its beauty and most of all that students get the best out of themselves.

Ivan’s love for the sea is matched only by his skill as a licensed skipper and dedicated dive instructor. With years of experience navigating the waters around Cres, Ivan ensures every dive trip is smooth, safe, and full of adventure. His friendly demeanor and in-depth knowledge of the local marine environment and most of all the knowledge about the conditions on the sea and local weather make him an indispensable part of the SEA MATES experience.
